Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung and his partner Rano Karno visited Kampung Susun Bayam (vertical village) and met directly with residents of the former Kampung Bayam Madani in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, North Jakarta, Thursday (3/6).

On this occasion, they symbolically handed over the keys to the residents of the former Kampung Bayam Madani.

PT Jakpro Director, Iwan Takwin said the presence of former Kampung Bayam Madani residents is expected to strengthen the relationship between JIS as a strategic city asset and surrounding residents, while also creating a balance between social interests and the sustainability of public facilities.

He hoped that a sustainable ecosystem would be created that not only provides economic benefits for residents, but also contributes to greening and environmental balance in the JIS area.

"This is a real step in supporting the governor and its deputy's program to provide fair and sustainable solutions for the residents of the former Kampung Bayam Madani," he expressed.

He ensured that Jakpro would support and implement the Jakarta Government's policies by ensuring that the management of this housing runs well following the principles of transparent and responsible governance.

Kampung Susun Bayam, which is part of the JIS area, was completed in 2022. The housing consists of three towers, namely Tower A containing 50 housing units (designated for residents of the former Kampung Bayam Madani), Tower B containing 35 housing units, and Tower C containing 50 housing units and 3 housing units specifically for the disabled.

The facilities available include a teacher's room, two study rooms, a library, public toilets, and disabled toilets. There is also a Green House provided to support urban farming activities.
